​​​​​​​Connecting never sounded so good. Music is contagious and we can’t get enough of it. It’s no wonder that nearly two-thirds (65%) of TikTok users prefer branded content that carries an original sound. Likewise, the growing rise of the ever-changing playlists designed just for you are on the rise. Simply put, there’s nothing better than music to trigger emotions, paint pictures of a brand, motivate people to do things, and most importantly, to connect with people.
To roll out the campaign, we used paid, social, and EDM. Additionally, we partnered with Anghami to help us reach new demographics through an in-app and CRM campaign. A triggered EDM with a promo code for the Entertainer was sent to everyone who streamed the song. Also, a triggered EDM was sent to Entertainer prospects with a code to provide access to Anghami for a free month subscription of ENTERTAINER. The targeting was based on location, with a different promo code for each location, which was key for tracking.
This was our thinking when we created our campaign this year, ‘Entertainer Every Day’ – the app that offers a ‘buy one, get one free’ on everything from water parks to chicken wings. Looking for a catchy sound that ‘spoke’ to everyone, we contacted Dubai’s local rappers, “Ahmedoo and SG.” SG raps in a mixture of Arabic and English, a blend that has become a hallmark of the hip-hop scene in the United Arab Emirates.
No other app has the variety of offers the ENTERTAINER has. However ‘Savings’ is not the trigger for everyone, it’s often more about value for money, what's in it for me…
Idea: ENTERTAINER every day…because our app allows you to double up. Jumping on the music trend, like Hardees,Jason Derulo :), we worked with a local production company/musicians and local rappers to connect with a wider demographic to really connect with the region's vibe.
